That sounds bad. At least it looks like NoScript stops those kinds of attacks.

If you have tabs, this is independent of the system. It's similar in principal to an email phishing scheme. Use caution as you would with your mail.

Makes you think, as people move to cloud computing and browser-based systems, being immune to Windows malware won't be as relevant anymore.

If you keep track of what sites you're on and you know what all the tabs are, you shouldn't be taken by this simple ambush.
