I am a not very computer literate geriatric and have loaded Ubuntu 10.04 into my Optima Pentium D. I cannot connect to Telstra Next G broadband. Can someone give this newby step by step directions please. Nothing I have tried works but the ZTE modem seems to be recognised as being there when I go into my computer to check what drives are there.

Yes - Have looked at as much as I could find in about three hours before I gave up.
My other computer operating on XP mostly self installs Next G broadband. I cannot get Ubuntu to recognise the installation disc provided and when I go through the Install Wizard I still cannot get a connection. What do I need to do??
