I've only seen a few bits of azumanga daioh and it seems pretty crazy, but if you are looking for crazy funny stuff:

Miname-ke is kind of like Azumanga. Although I didn't think it was quite as good as Azumanga.

Hmm..I'd recommend Minami-ke/Okawari/Okaeri and K-ON!/K-ON!! :) I also like Mainichi Kaasan on Crunchyroll. Don't know if you'd like it though as it is a little childish.

You'd probably like Love Hina dude. I recommend Megazone 23 part 3 though. Its the matrix but 10 years before the matrix. ;). Also Ghost in the shell stand alone complex is good. I didn't bother watching it until recently because i thought it would just be a lame spin-off, its actually really cool though. ;). If ya after comedies though Full Metal Panic is pretty funny as well.
