Little help with Emerald

There's nothing gone wrong, as far as I'm aware the Emerald Manager settings only apply to windows. To change the desktop background, you could go through System>Preferences>Appearance, and you could alter some panel settings using Compiz or by right clicking on a panel and selecting Properties.

Thanx for the effort but i thought, by looking at some awesome screenshots here:

that the desktop background, panels and terminal's appearance will automatically change without any manual customizations. oh well.... thanx again.
