I have 9.10 ubuntu right now and wish to upgrade to 10.04...
But I have several libraries like libserial, avr-gcc etc. fully installed. So, without backup, what happens if i click the upgrade button that i see on the update manager?
If these libraries will get erased when i upgrade, what all should i have to backup? I do not want to take the trouble of doing source install for each of the libraries..
So, i basically want to know what all files are affected and what all get erased on upgrade..
Please help...
