Smokescreen is a new open-source project aimed at converting Flash to JavaScript/HTML5 to run where it previously couldn't and better interoperate with webpages where it previously could.

This is amazing. I've always been sceptical over JS/HTML5, but this really does prove a point.

PS Even though the demo's say for Mac/Win they work fine in Ubuntu.

This runs slow as hell on Firefox 3.6 but actually runs quite nicely in Chrome.

This is great, I didn't even realise HTML5 and Javascript were able to do this kind of vector animation.
