If its true will it be ready ontime and will it bug free?

Sounds like a hoax.

Btw i have read the dutch version and not the orignal link ( the 1st link.)

Well, it was pushed back to 2007. I'm glad it got pushed back. By the time its released, I hope to be building a new PC that'll be running Vista and Dapper + 1 (or 2).

Its just that the human lifespan is just not long enough to allow for the checking of code to THAT degree........ :mrgreen:

bug free ? Msoft wants Vista to be buggy that way they can charge even more to fix some of the bugs ...

It did seem a tad much... I did like the forbes articles, as it seems vista will have a lot of useless crap (ha ha).

I was mainly avoiding windows on principle (DRM) etc...
Dunno about you guys, but I'm glad to be on Ubuntu only. :)

There was about 60% truth in that article :D

Microsoft are in trouble methinks..... confidence in them is at an all time low........ actually to the point that a statement like "Vista needs a 60% code re-write" was actually believeable for many people!
