"The world's first Ubuntu romantic school comedy."

oh silly me. Is this in that comic book format that I can just read it with the comic book reader in the software center. I'm feeling a bit lazy right now after a 3 day camping trip and I don't feel like compiling anything :)

I am sure you can get it in .pdf.

I just don't get anime.

You are in luck. This is a manga, not an anime.

I'm not that into manga, but I read the first Ubuntchu release via PDF a couple of months ago. It was decent. It's definitely the best Ubuntu-based manga I've ever read...

I am confident that it is the only Ubuntu-based manga you have ever read. :P

I am quite confident I can't get over how silly it is

I just don't get anime.

The anime/manga obsessed girls are pretty hot sometimes, but that was in my highschool :P

Anime has it's ranges just like anything else. They are all different. If you like animation, chances are there is an anime you will like.

That is nice, but this is a manga, not an anime.

I know it is a manga. *takes deep breath and counts to 10*

A manga is a style of book sort of like a comic book. Anime is a Japanese animation.

You know what, I read through the five issues, and it's actually a very friendly way to introduce someone to linux.

The "we must wget; make; make install" comment seemed inappropriate. Modern Linux distributions have package managers that automate that process for you.

Take Gentoo Linux for example. You never need to do "wget; make; make install" on Gentoo Linux and doing "wget; make; make install" is strongly discouraged because it pollutes the root directory, although if you have a specific need to do it, you can always install stuff into /usr/local.

What? Either the forums are messing up, or too many people forget what topic they're replying to today because I keep seeing people with irrelevant responses to threads.

I thought it was a great manga, small, free, easy read.

Old news is old and the manga itself is very bad. Full of stereotypes in a totally non-funny way.

I partially agree. It has the potential to be really good and was fun to read. I will not criticize someones hard work though.

Have you read the first chapter?
