Hi,
I am using WUBI to run ubuntu.I upgraded to 10.04 from ubuntu 9 using the update option provided. On restart after the update,i get to grub rescue prompt. Here when i type ls i get the output as hd0 and hd31.I cannot login into windows because the option to select between windows 7 and ubuntu is not available anymore.
It would be great if somebody could suggest a solution to this problem.

Can you run this just to make sure what we are talking about?

Post the content of your results file here.

PS. When creating threads about wubi, select [wubi] for thread type, not [ubuntu].

Hi,
tried to run the command from the live cd(Ubuntu 8.10).It gives me the message no such file or directory.
I have posted this thread under wubi..thanks for letting me know..

You need to download the script first and put it on the desktop. It's in my signature, just click the link.

I didn't mean to create another thread right now, just to know for the future. :)
