I upgraded from Mythbuntu 8.04 to 10.04 by installing into a spare partition and restoring the database backup. I had unexpected problems with wicd, a package I've used for years rather than deal with that rats nest called Network Manager. The first issue was solved - once I uninstalled Network manager, wicd was able to connect wirelessly - however, wicd no longer reconnects when it loses connection. Does anyone have a fix?
