Who here has managed to set up a TV as a second monitor/clone/whatever using only mouse clicks and Nvidia X Server Settings?

I find it impossible (after about ~4 hrs) to get simultaneous signal on the PC monitor and the TV get signal to the TV without physically unplugging the Monitor.
I've tried all sorts of things.

This is not a thread where I'm asking for support.

Edit: I forgot an option as to please everybody: "I don't care for TV Out"

My 37" TV hooks up just fine. ten again I don't really use TV out, as Ubuntu, Nvida, or ATI all see it as a secondary monitor, because it attaches by VGA or HDMI

It depends what TV out you are trying to use, is it composite or s-video?

It's S-Video.
Is composite usually less problematic?

I've only used s-video out, it seemed to work ok, have you run:

xrandr

in a termianl when you are connected to the tv?

This page (http://wiki.debian.org/XStrikeForce/HowToRandR12) may help.

My mini itx case is to small for a full sized video card, so I use the on-board vga out.
