I want to upgrade my ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04..
i have downloaded .iso CD image of ubuntu 10.04 LTS and have mounted it using nautilus script to CD-ROM..
Now i want to upgrade my ubuntu installation from that CD..
is it possible..???
if so pls tell me how to..

AFAIK it isn't possible to do an Upgrade using the live cd, you must use the alternate cd (live cd can only do clean install).

Some have used the Ubuntu DVD... Others experiences problems. I guess the best way is to try Update-manager to do the job.
Personally, I'm trying the ubuntu-alternate CD. Will inform you of the results after I finish the process and if I still remembered to post. :D
