google chrome stable

Has anyone got this message when attempting to install google chrome stable?

Error: conflicts with the installed package 'google-chrome-beta'

I thought it would just override the existing beta version; no dice.

Anyone know how to fix this conflict and / or install chrome stable???

apt-get remove google-chrome-beta
