Hi,
I have an HPCompaq nx9010 (P4, 1GB RAM, plenty spare disk) which has been running Ubuntu since 6.06. Currently running 9.04 quite happily. Got the CD for 10.04, put it in the drive and restarted. CD drive motors happily, quick message about booting IsoLinux flashes by, I get an odd purple box on the screen with a couple small icons at the base: one looks kind of like a keyboard, then an = sign, then a circle with a stick figure inside. Eventually this goes and there's heaps of CD drive activity, then nothing.
I was expecting the langiage menu then the install/run menu. Now I'm baffled. Did not expect this. Anyone any ideas?
