I like Tomboy a lot, but looking for a note-taking app where you can paste in text with embedded hyperlinks like this: Ubuntu Forums (http://ubuntuforums.org)

Any out there?

I tried Zim. It only pasted in straight text, not hyperlinked text. Unless there's is a configuration to accept pasting in hyperlinked text that I didn't see.

Note that I'm not talking about a note-taking app being able to auto-hyperlink URLs pasted into it like this: http://ubuntuforums.org, but to save hyperlinked text like this: Ubuntu Forums (http://ubuntuforums.org)

Take a look at BasKet. Been a while since I used it, so I don't remember if it takes hyperlinks.
