"Places' not working properly

Can someone please tell me how to correct this. It started when I upgraded from 9.10 to Lucid Lynx.

When I click on Places and then on Documents or Pictures or Home Folder or Ubuntu One, invariably the Music window comes up.

So how do I correct this?

Do you have an ATI? This appears to be a graphs corruption.

Thanks and I accept the chiding. However, those guidelines don't work in Lucid Lynx: the quoted tabs just are not there. However I will try the information posted by Arun
