Can't enter some directories by Thunar or PCManFM

In 10.04, I can't enter a directory sometimes by clicking it on file list.

Maybe you don't have permissions?

post ls - /path/to/dir

It is not permissions. E.g. If I start Thunar, I can enter the ~/Desktop directory once via the list, but not twice.

.. and I can use the Side Pane to enter directories.

i think i saw a bug report on the list view, use icon view.
