Ubuntu 10.04 alternative installer stucks at DHCP

Hello, Im pretty new at linux and already got lot of proplems before even getting it installed, this time Installer stucks when Its getting IP via DHCP. I have tried ctrl+C didn't work and pretty much everything noob like me can. Thank you beforehand:KS
Hardware:
D-Link DI-524 wireless router
Netgear CM232 modem
Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO P

Also, I have tried normal installer but that one stucks at the "ubuntu" loading screen even before it starts installation.

I have got D-Link
DI-524 High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Router

and Netgear CM232 modem
computer is my old fujitsu siemens SCALEO P /CBN SCALEO P 350W/CPU P4 515/
