I have a client with a Netrome DVR system that has gone bad. A power surge fried the machine and I want to know if:
1 - DSSX8 download site says that you need to install the correct version of the software with the correct serial number for the version. Well the hdd crashed and I do not have that information. Also if it is a sticker on the machine which I dont think that it is then what to do?
2 - If I replace the DSSX8 DVR with another computer and dont have the serial number will it work regardless?
3 - If we decide to use Zoneminder will the software recognize the Altera Cyclone Techwell tw2804 chipset from the existing DVR card?
