View Full Version : [ubuntu] Intel GPU drivers stack

Hello i was trying to upgrade my ubuntu 10.04 intel drivers(Q4 2.9.1) to newest intel linux drivers(Q1 2.11.0) everything goes normaly http://intellinuxgraphics.org/install.html of this tuturial, but still no changes in gfxinfo it shows what i am still using 2009 Q4 Stack, but not new one 2010 Q1, maybe someone did this driver stack installation and can show proper guide or smth :)
P.S. And ofcourse no performance changes. So i quess i doing smth wrong ;/

choose the easiest way, install this ppa:

or this one: https://launchpad.net/~guido-iodice/+archive/best-intel

And it will automaticly update mesa libdrm and so on? No need of new kernel?

the dependencies are smoothly installed without trouble :) just need to update, upgrade

Hmm done, but no big performance difference ;D
