Folks,
I've updated my system from 8.04 LST to 10.04 LTS. However, the update seems to have deleted my wireless connection.
As I'm not very techo can anyone tell me how to get it back?
Regards,
Bob

Let's start with the easiest solution. Go to System, Administration, Hardware Drivers. Is your wireless driver listed there? If so, is it activated?
If that's not it, do you still have a network icon on the top panel? If you have the icon, is your wireless connection visible or grayed out?
We will probably need more information for indepth troubleshooting, such as your wireless card, the results of "iwconfig", etc.

Many thanks for your quick reply.
There are 2 drivers listed each set with a green lamp. They are:
Support for Atheros 802.11
ATI/AMD propriority FGLRX graphics driver
When I right click the icon at the top of the screen I have Enable Wireless ticked.
