Works fine.. looks very cool.
Currently looking for inspiring java-software to learn some java-coding myself, guess I found one.
Fun apps.. I like Krusader (http://www.krusader.org/). Never found a better filemanager.

Makehuman (http://www.makehuman.org/). It's geared more towards people that aren't really sure about making their own 3D character models, but it's a great starting point for customizing all of the features of a character.
The new Alpha supposedly supports things like hair, special rendering modes, an improved interface, better texture support, better lighting, etc.
It exports to OBJ format, and I think a few others. Works great with Blender.
