View Full Version : Sanyo VPC-HD2000ABK: Firmware modification

I have the Sanyo VPC-HD2000ABK (http://us.sanyo.com/Dual-Cameras/VPC-HD2000ABK-Full-1080p-HD-Video-and-8MP-Digital-Photos) (It's a HD video camera) and I like the high speed video format with 600fps but the quality is horrible. I know the camera has to tone down the quality because the data flow would overwhelm any standard SD card. But I have the 32GB SanDisk Extreme SDHC (http://shop.sandisk.com/store/sdiskus/en_US/DisplayProductDetailsPage/parentCategoryID.13027500/CategoryID.39837900/productID.165907900?resid=S-UmdQoBAiMAAFhxV9kAAABC&rests=1274357364714) card with 30mbps speeds. Is there some way I can increase the quality of the 600fps video. I already know it is mandatory to record in very bright light, but I want to increase the dimensions of the video, too at least twice the size.

The 600fps video dimensions are 192x108 (supper small)

I wonder if this might not be better asked on a A/V website/forum?

I didn't know of any,
I already posted this exact question on the well-known Instructables (http://www.instructables.com/index) website, and for days I still got no answers.
