Hi everyone, I'm VERY new to UBUNTU and looking for some help in setting it up. I've downloaded version 10.4 and had the following message come up when trying to install and/or boot directly from the disk?
"Unexpected exit with status 0x0009"
If anyone is brave enough to walk me trough some install steps I'd really appreciate the help.
I have a system that will be dedicated to UBUNTU (No dual boot config wanted)
Kind regards,
r2d2

Just so you know you're not alone, I am having exactly the same issue with an 11.04 32bit ISO.
It won't even boot to the menu where I can choose to run the live cd or try to install.
I have had some limited success with Ubuntu over the past few years, but issues like this, where something simply does not work, create a very negative experience. This is why I keep going back to Windows.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
