How could i do this?
basically the idea is, the dvd boots, i select a distro, and that iso boots.
seems easy enough, but i don't know much about making boot loaders or bootable disks.

I'm not sure if this is possible. But if it were, I'd be willing to bet that it would be a massive pain in the rear...

A couple of years ago a linux magazine I bought did that. But now I do everything with USB flash drives. I have 4 versions of Ubuntu, gparted, system rescue, and one or two more in my grub menu. I can easily change an ISO and update the grub menu and reuse as often as I want.

+1 and you can get a cd that will enable a boot from a thumb on a computer that will not boot a thumb.

This plop works great.

I haven't tried making one in a long time, but...

a quick search "create multiboot iso image DVD" came up with:

and

This is a .exe only usable on a windows or maybe wine setup.

there is only ubuntu-9.10-netbook-remix-i386 and not a amd64, right?
I got it to work and i'm just building the disk and collecting iso's right now.

i've got 300 DVD's i've been sitting on that i bought online and i'm not using them, so i figure i'll burn a lot of copies and give them out to people, so they have an opportunity to test many different flavors of the OS.
