Hi,
i bought asus eeepc 1005pe. Win 7 is already installed. So i want to have dual boot with ubuntu 10.04 64bit, but asus won´t boot from any of my usb sticks (i made 2 bootable usb sticks). It recognizes them in bios, i seleceted sandisk as the first bootable device, but it always starts win 7.
Any idea?

Can you boot the usb stick on another computer? Just to make sure it is created correctly.

Of course-it just stays there saying that i have no bootable device-although it sees my sandisk usb stick and card reader...
i also updated bios, but nothing
i have 32bit version of win 7, and wanted to install 64bit ubuntu..

I tried also to make bootable device with unetbootin in win 7-but nothing-i select removable device or usb stick as the first one, but it always startups win...
EDIT: i finallly did it. Used unetbootin and disabled harddisk at startup, and that was it...

(Lost my post..)
I'm trying to install from a 2gb SD card.
When I get to the unetbootin screen, it says something like "Automatically booting in 10 seconds" and counts down to ... start over. Repeatedly.
Any suggestions?
