problem with word completion of eclipse

hi ppl,
I installed eclipse yesterday and cdt following the instructions from wiki.
Everything is working fine except this word completion in
Edit->Word Completion (Alt+/)
the error it is giving is
java.lang.NullPointerException

Could u plz help me get over it....
