I have two internal hard drives, both 80 gigabytes. Relatively small compared to todays standards. That's why I wish to install across two hard drives. Soon I will be able to do everything on Ubuntu that I can on windows and can format that drive for raw space.I want to have the ability to mess up my system everyday and not lose my documents/programs when I reinstall. I don't want to limit my /home, /etc, /bin, /sbin, and /usr partitions to less than 20 gigs. Is spreading them across two hard drives a possibility? How bad would it slow me down/speed me up?
