Hi,

I've recently upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 and realised that it has a different scanning software. It uses Simple Scan instead of Xscan on the previous version of Ubuntu.
I find Xscan to be a better software and would like to install it on the new version. Any ideas on how it can be done?
Thank you ,

I think you might mean Xsane. This is still in the repositories so you can install it from Synaptic.
I have also installed sane, but I am not sure if both are necessary.
