I'm just finishing setting up my desktop effects and settings and have hit a wall. I have set my entire panel semi-transparent (including the Applications, Places and System backgrounds) but would like to change the submenu background transparency. By submenu background I mean the (in my case gray) background of the Applications, Places and System submenus. I have set Compiz Opacity settings, but that set the opacity of the text aswell making the entire thing unreadable. I installed gnome-color-chooser and that set the color to a RGB value, but no transparency. How can you set transparent submenus? :confused:
