I'm finishing up my first year teaching an android programming class at the middle school level. (We use Ubuntu.)

This year the class was only one semester. So, we covered a lot of basics like setting up the environment for development and working with simple concepts like the menu button.

I developed a framework for publishing live wallpapers for the last unit and the students have been using programs like Adobe After Effects to create cool live wallpapers that seem to sell pretty well.

Can't wait for the 2.2. update.
