Edit- I'd be more likely to go with all of Turkey in Asia- its just that tiny bit around Istanbul (was Constantinople, but now its Istanbul, not Constantinople LOL) is in Europe. Everything west of the Bosphorus is Asia.

I've known several people who have done tours in Antarctica. I once worked with a guy who spent a year at the pole doing research. He became a member of the "300 (degree Farenheit) club" by running from a sauna out into the sub-zero temp and rolling around. And later, the parents of another coworker spent a year there themselves. Internet access was a pain in the **** because you can't really see GEO satellites from there so your data gets queued up and transmitted to a polar satellite as it flew over in its orbit. I understand that it's fiber these days.
