This is probably already posted elsewhere, but I have a couple other issues too. For convenience reasons, I am posting all of it here.
I upgraded from 9.10 karmic to 10.04LTS Lucid using update manager, now my sound card is not being detected, and my CD writer is not working (shows read only file system for unwritten CDRs).
I am having problems with installing DKMS, and as a result I cannot use VirtualBox non-free or OSE.
I also have a 9.10 install on the same drive I want to get rid of.
I just want to downgrade this 10.04 to 9.10, keeping all of my files and settings, and have that as my sole OS.
Please help
