Hi,

So I upgrade to newest ubuntu in hunt for better flash-player performance, but damn, I can't try that because a strange problem:

When I log in with gdm to E16(just E16, not gnome or kde variants) it logs in nice, but the gdm's background image stays on. If you have used E16 you know that you have no menus, just click with mouse on desktop and menus appear. But the problem is that the E16 desktop is not shown, so I can't do anything, can't even log out! Have to use killall -9 e16 to get out.

So far I have tried:
-Log in to gnome and check e16 conf, all confs seem normal, but E16 comes over gnome window manager
-Remove all gnome conf's, didn't help
-Make a new user, didn't help
-Remove gnome, didn't help, lost gdm at the same time...niiice...
-Install xubuntu and kubuntu with tasksel
-Now the login screen has blue(kubuntu) background, log in to e16, the background stays on, can't do anything.

Now I'm using xcfe, but I hate this, ofcourse gnome and kde are much worse, but I miss my E16. Any help?
