For all the noobs like me out there!
If you're considering upgrading (not doing a fresh install) from 9.10 and are concerned becuase you dual boot, then when you go through the upgrade, there will be an option to install the new Grub or keep the one that's currently installed. KEEP The currently installed grub and you should have no issue. I've had to upgrade twice now with dual boot Win7 configs and haven't had any of the issues I've seen in the forums about dual boots which I believe is due to installing the new Grub. JMHO
