Highly doubt that that is the case.
Have you retried already?

You didn`t forget that launchpad (completely stupidly) requires that one character of your password is uppercase.

So my UF irc and launchpad password are the same, except that in launchpad the first letter of the password is uppercase.

Trips me up all the time.

My passwords looks something like this: IA8IC41WdeKZkvU (which isn't my password >.>)

Hurray for password generators.

Off topic,

As I have discussed before, I have one password, for everything. It`s always been the same. Let`s say rollingstones.

Periodically, I change how I "encrypt" it. I usually use three rules. So eg

move everything one letter up and rollinstones becomes

spmmjotupoft

then make every letter in the pattern 1 + 3 + 1 +3 be the number of the alphabet it corresponds to + 2

spmmjotupoft becomes
21pmm1217tup178t

Then make every number a letter and viceversa
ba161414abag202116agh20

So I get my new password, and after a day or 6, I remember it, and launchpad want`s me to have a mixture of uppercase and lowercase, weather my perfectly good system of password generation has them or not. Grrrrrr

Carlee, you just changed your email address. Would that have anything to do with it?

I finally found it out today.

Apparently, the launchpad.net email system does NOT integrate with the launchpad SSO email roster. They were sending the recovery emails to a dusty inbox that I hadn't used since a month of joining ubuntu....
