vg cats? - http://www.vgcats.com/
left handed toons by right handed people? - http://www.lefthandedtoons.com/

Mac Hall (http://www.machall.com)
Three Panel Soul (http://www.threepanelsoul.com/)

those are both by the same people, and both worth reading in entirety, though they probably aren't what you were looking for.

care to share any details?

No, it wasn't any of those...

I do love and respect XKCD, although I'm a bit miffed at Mr. Munnies at the moment... But I'l get over that.

This was more traditional comic in style...

With three dimensional characters.

No no and no! More Pogo Possum, less bathroom stall at Dichrome Technical Institute.

It's really not that hard.

jetsam

Why, have you seen them?

Chronon
May 17th, 2010, 08:50 AM

No, thanks. I know how to find wiki. It's insulting actually you should assume I don't, but I'm not offended.

Say an out of town visitor asks you for a great French Bistro. Do you
a) Hand him or her the phone book.
b) Tell him or her to open one his or herself.
c) Try to sell him a wikipedia.
d) Recommend a good bistro.
e) Conduct a survey of the town asking everyone the same question then publish the results on the public access television.

Here's a hint. The right answer is d.

There is also f) Make him or her a french dip sandwich.

f is just as good as d. Better. The correct answer is f.

But the right answer is d.

Ok... I had forgotten Dinosaur Comics, and I'm grateful for the reminder. But it's not the one I'm thinking of.

And Shlock Merceneries looks really great. Also not the one I'm thinking of. But it does look really great.

Still... needs more Pogo.

You forgot g.
g) they're asking for a specific french bistro, one they visited once, all they know is that it's in the town and serves a certain food.
In this town there a a hundred French Bistros, and a few of them serve a variation of this certain food, can you blame the person they asked for not knowing which exact one that they want with the limited information given?

Say an out of town visitor asks you for a great French Bistro.

k

a) Hand him or her the phone book.
yes; if they've never been to town.

b) Tell him or her to open one his or herself.
yes, if they're considering becoming an entrepreneur.

c) Try to sell him a wikipedia.
no, wikipedia isn't for sale.

d) Recommend a good bistro.
why not?

e) Conduct a survey of the town asking everyone the same question then publish the results on the public access television.
maybe if you work for Gallup.

Still... needs more Pogo.

here (http://www.pogopossum.com/)

Pogo is not a webcomic, either buy Pogo books, or figure out what you'd actually like by way of a webcomic.

also, go open a French bistro, and the food had better be fantastic.

I thought this was the thread where you lead UF on a mindless goose chase, looking for an obscure webcomic, whose name you have no idea.

well that has nothing to do with webcomics, but if you wish to derail your own thread, i suppose i won't stop you.

now, what about the term do you wish to discuss?

Wrong, this is the thread where he leads us on a wild goose chase about a webcomic whose name he doesn't know, nor any description except for that we've pried out of him, is given. :)

Um...there's Ubersoft's Helpdesk. http://ubersoft.net I don't think anyone's mentioned that yet.
