View Full Version : [ubuntu] Netbook remix panel disappears regularly.

Since I upgraded from 9.10 UNR to lucid I am getting this problem regularly, every time a window is closed. See the two attached screenshots, one shows everything working, the second shows an instant and very regular disappearance of the panel when a window is closed. The panel process is actually active, both nautillus and maximus processes are working, the panel itself is not dead but is invisible, totally invisible until X is killed or the computer is restarted.
Computer is an EEEpc 701 4GB, here comes lspci output:

Unfortunately the bug seems to have been labeled as invalid. There are a couple of ad-hoc workarounds which work for some time there.
