A while back I had installed 64bit version of Ubuntu 9.10 server onto my machine.

I installed this on a 3 disk RAID 5 system and everything was working well...

Then I had to go and try putting a liquid cooled fan on my system...

I unplugged the SATA drive connectors to pull the drive apart and then apparently plugged them back in in the wrong order.

The system has not been able to start up since...

I have installed 9.10 64 bit server on another drive and trying to recover the data partition of my server.

My last backup was months ago and I didn't even THINK of backing up the system before pulling it apart... SO I really dont want to loose 20-25% of the data that was on that drive so I am hoping there is somethign simple I can do...

The operating system and everything was on the raid 5...

I have the same OS installed on another drive as I mentioned to try and recover the raid partitions.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have 3 raid partitions on these drives.. 1 is the boot partition, 1 is the swap partition and the third is the data drive with the operating system and all my data on it in an LVM ext3 partition.

I am a noob with this so I need my hand held through this if at all possible.
