I'm looking for a way to name workspaces, currently running semi-stock ubuntu, so compiz etc.
Ideally I'd be able to edit the names on the fly and each name would display when I switched to that workspace. Is there any way I could do something like this? If there are no apps that do this by default is there a way to set an app to run on workspace switch events? I understand I'm asking a lot so any help at all is very appreciated
