I upgraded my HP Mini 1000 to 10.04 and kernel 2.6.32. This solved one problem (sleep/hibernate) and caused a couple more. One if which is that after Ubuntu starts up it hangs for about a minute. Sometimes I will have started an application, or be in a menu and it will hang. The mouse will work, but I can't click on anything. Here is the syslog

The only thing I changed after installing the upgrade was the video driver from VESA to fbdev, as X would only start up in default (fbdev) mode. I doubt that's related to the hard drive read problem.

The hard drive is an ATA PATA SSD 32GB, Port 1 of PATA Host Adapter. Write Cache: DIsabled. /dev/sda and the IDE controller driver is called ata_piix.

Any ideas? Thanks.
