Why can't the indicator applet and the notification applet "just get along"? They look terrible together,
I can't change some of the icons like Compiz fusion and anyway, the spacing in the notification applet is different to the indicator, and the mail Icon does half the things the me menu does...
it's just horrible:

It would be so much better if all the icons were separate applets.
Has anyone got any suggestions about this?
