I just purchased a Western Digital Caviar Green 500GB SATA hard drive.
I loaded the latest Ubuntu Live disc and chose to install it. It recognized the drive and said that proceeding would erase the whole drive and install Ubuntu.
It has been 2 hours and all I see is the Desktop Background.
Does this process take a long time or is something wrong?
