So, kind of new to the ubuntu area (9.04 my starter). How do set the panel to full transparent?
And are there any good manuals/videos just for Eye Candy/Compiz?
Is there any thing that you think some would need?

I have Restricted codecs,Ubuntu tweak, VLC, Gimp, Inkscape, Kdenlive ,and Wine.

And my last Question what is one of the better OS and software for sign making?
My dad uses Signlab for windows and want him to try linux. His as minimal as you get (he doesn't even have a wallpaper).

Sorry for all the Question, And thanks for your help.

If what you just want is to get your panel transparent, all you have to do is right-click on it. Go to the Properties window and select the Background tab. You will see a bar that goes from transparent to solid, just make it full transparent.
