Hello

Is there a way to remove the lines highlighted in this image?

Are those seperators?

If they are go to System >> Preferences >> Main Menu

In the side bar, scroll to and click on "System"

You should be able to see exactly what they are.

Right click on each and delete.

Hello labinnsw,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, those lines are not considered separators in the menu editor, eventhough they look just like the separators used in other parts of the menu. The line right below the Control Panel link is there by default and below it are the links to About Gnome, About Ubuntu, and Help, which I removed using Nautilus, since again, those do not appear in the menu editor. The secod line appeared when I removed my session status launcher from the top panel, and it added those options to the System menu.

I have looked and looked for a way to remove them, but so far no luck.
