View Full Version : [ubuntu] Mounting SMB at a custom location

So, I am trying to set up a Ubuntu workstation in my office, and in order for it to be useful, it needs to connect to our database, which runs in DOS.

I am most of the way there, but the issue I have is the location of the mount for the server.

Currently I have it mounted at smb://, but dosbox will not mount that location.

So I want to mount that location at something that will work, say /home/user/fileserver

If it can't be mounted at that sort of location, I'd like to make a link so that I could put the file location of the link in as my mountpoint.
