I'm looking to set up self-hosted webmail on a shared server.
I am absolutely stunned to see that not a single one of the 50 or so FOSS webmail projects I've seen let the users tag emails online Gmail style and run on shared hosting.
In fact the *only* open source webmail project I found that would do tagging at all was Zimbra, but you need root level access to the server to install it.
It just blows my mind that something as basic as tagging emails doesn't yet seem to exist on *any* of the php based projects like RoundCube / Squirrelmail / Horde etc. etc. Yes folders are nice, but they're also very limited when one email relates to multiple areas.
Please someone, point me to a link that shows how wrong I am. Please.
