checksum do not match

Hi all,
Just tried creating a startup disk and during the process it comes up with this dialogue message
checksum do not match .
What could be the problem and how can one resolve it.

By startup disk do you mean that you are trying to burn a live CD from which to boot or install Ubuntu? If so, it sounds like the ISO file that you downloaded is probably corrupt. That just happens from time to time, and downloading the ISO file again will probably solve the problem.
