Did a clean install on a fully functioning Toshiba Tecra laptop previously running Windows XP.
After install, screen will backlight, but otherwise remains blank. Touchpad does not work at all.
External display works perfectly with the television plugged into the RGB port (at which time the laptop display turns off the backlighting), and a USB mouse works as well.
Built in keyboard functions perfectly.
Any idea what went wrong or how to fix?
