Can Ubuntu interfce with a mac server? i ask as my XP machine when it was installed with service pack 2, refused to cooperiate with it!

There are many ways to do this, but in general, with MacOS being based on BSD, you can use protocols like NFS to communicate with the Mac server. I run Macs and Linux/Unix here and have no problems interfacing with any of them but I guess that depends on what you call "interfacing".
